CS Superhero: Ada Lovelace

Major Accomplishment: Ada Lovelace insighted that Charles Babbage's Analytical Enginer could be programmed to follow a series of instructions. She wrote the first algorithm intended to be processed by a machine and paved the way for modern computer science today. She is also widely considered to be the first ever computer scientist. Additionally, she translated the Sketch of the Analytical Engine into English and published her own notes for the world to see and use.

CS Superhero: Steve Jobs

Major Accomplishment: Steve Jobs founded one of the biggest tech companies in the world today: Apple. He revolutionized the personal computer with the MacBook and iMac, and Apple's GUI (Graphical User Interface) made computers more intuitive and accessible to a wider audience.

CS Superhero: Sir Tim Berners-Lee

Major Accomplishment: Sir Tim Berners-Lee was a major part of creating the internet as we know it today. He created the hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) and created a system for locating files across servers known as a universal resource locator (URL). He also made the first web formatting programming language called hypertext markup language (HTML).
